The Suffolk County Water Authority (SCWA) is proposing a water line extension to supplement Southold’s water supply. It will run from Riverhead along Sound Avenue and from Dam Pond across the causeway into Orient. You can review the full details at www.scwa.com/nfp.
At our June 2 meeting we will discuss the process and how you can address your questions and concerns about this project at the upcoming SCWA scoping session.
The SCWA will lay out this plan and hold a public scoping session June 12, 6pm at Southold Recreation Center to gather input from the community as part of the environmental review process.
