Community Action Southold Town (“CAST”) Food Pantry Open
Community Action Southold Town announced on Monday its food pantry will remain open and an Emergency Feed-A-Kid program has been launched during the COVID-19 outbreak.
Families in need can get a Feed-A-Kid bag once each week during food pantry hours, which are 9 a.m.-noon on Monday, 3 p.m.-6 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m.-noon Friday. To sign up, people can call 631-477-1717 during food panty hours or email [email protected].
Distribution of pantry bags will be at the back door. Clients are encouraged to call ahead so a bag can be prepared with their name on it.
Mobil food pantry deliveries will continue to those who are homebound or have transportation barriers. CAST asks that any seniors or people who know of someone in need of food and unable to get to the Greenport location to schedule a home delivery by calling the number above or via email.
CAST says they will assist clients with urgent emergency assistance requests during food pantry hours.
The sharing room is currently closed until further notice and no sharing room donations will be accepted until further notice.
