Electric, Gas, WiFi Utilities Update
On March 23, 2020, it was announced that PSEG has suspended shut-offs of electric service to residential customers for non-payment. Also, National Grid have temporarily suspended collections-related activities, including service disconnections. Both of these policies will be in place through the end of April, when the policy will be reevaluated. Any questions regarding home energy, please contact the Home Energy Assistance Program (HEAP). There will also be free or low cost Wi-Fi available, especially for school children during this time of home schooling. Spectrum and Comcast are giving households that qualify 60 days of complimentary Wi-Fi, and Charter, Comcast, AT&T, and Verizon are offering unlimited data plans to customers until May 13 for no additional charge.
